Apple has recently announced an exciting new addition to its Fitness+ platform — kickboxing! Now you can enjoy all the high-intensity cardio and core-strengthening benefits of this martial art right in the comfort of your own home.

What exactly is Kickboxing?

It is a hybrid martial art combining elements from various disciplines, including boxing, karate, muay thai, taekwondo, and even more. It combines techniques from each style in order to create powerful and dynamic strikes that can be used for both offense and defense.

With Apple Fitness+, you will now have access to a range of kickboxing classes designed by world-class trainers. These classes will teach you proper form and technique, while also helping you to burn calories and tone your muscles with every move. How will Kickboxing work on Apple Fitness+?

You will not need any additional equipment for Kickboxing! All you need is a mat and some time to move! From what we can tell before the official release, Kickboxing will work similar to how HIIT and Dance classes work with diverse moves per round and various intensities.

According to Apple, users will learn moves over the course of several rounds with a final round putting all the moves together. The classes will also come in 10, 20, and 30 minute variations.
